Harvard is great. It got 3rd in THE Ranking 2022➚ worldwide which is great. As an institution, it is great in the global ranking, gender equality, need-blind admission and a great connection opportunity — a place of bright history matters for every new prospective undergraduate.

Harvard is hard to get in! With only a 24% acceptance rate it is terrible for 76% of students. Harvard accepts students based on their essay writing ability. There are facilities outside that will help you with the application. Isn’t it biased? Well, it is biased. In the past, a no. of claims has been made about the unbiased admission process at Harvard.

Harvard takes whatever you have. Donations from the rich and talent from the poor. Talent is needed to maintain the legacy of the university which is mostly by the students not from rich backgrounds. Riches don't need to study. They are having money which is sufficient to get into Harvard.

In the year 2022 total of 21,574 students have been admitted by Harvard. This number is huge but still, the selection percentage is only 24%. A university can't admit all of its applicants. But why it is necessary to go to Harvard? Why do you need to go to university? I don’t think it is necessary to go to university.

If the university isn’t compulsory then why do the parents force you and me and all of us to go to Harvard? Is it branding? Is it any kind of sponsorship? Is it a traditional mentality? Well, the traditional idea of schooling has already been challenged by “Rich Dad Poor Dad”. I am talking about the finances that a university adds to your daily life. They provide you only that much financial aid that allows you to just accept the offer along with the debt. Debt is something designed for you to keep you poor. Harvard is hard to get in. The first question you must ask yourself before starting your Harvard journey is - “Why am I going to a school? If I can gain all this by experience without studying all that cramming stuff then what is the significance of Harvard?

I am not against Harvard. The contribution of Harvard to innovation is so great that it can’t be forgotten. But look at the fee from the IVY league universities-

Here is the point. The universities are great but at the end of the day, they are made to earn money by the owners. Why not invest that money that you will spend on expensive education in other places like EdTech, Gaining Internships or using individual courses rather than a 4-year college degree. Indeed, connections and friends made at the college or university can’t be compared to online education. You can find a spouse at other places also. It is something from a traditional beautiful concept to find love at the college. Guys, but again it was made by the media. Let the change come.
